ABOUT THE PROJECT
Ye Olde Sphere is an effort to wind back the clock and re-visit the Renaissance era of Ultima Online using the modern Sphere X emulator. The script pack has been completely overhauled from the bottom up and missing features have been properly implemented. 22+ years of experience and knowledge are harnessed to achieve the shard’s objectives. We’re going back to the start, and getting the basics right.
WHAT OBJECTIVES ?
I.
Accurately emulate the Renaissance era of UO in the script pack while preserving the Sphere feel and PvP style.
II.
Help the continued development of the Sphere X emulator. Improvement for the emulator is a priority for this project.
III.
Continue to develop beyond that of the era we seek to emulate, innovating on and expanding on proven concepts.
SHARD RULESET
BASICS
- Era : Renaissance
- SphereServer (Sphere-X) / client 7.0.20
- Statcap 300 (100 max pers stat, can be increased)
- Skillmax 1000.0 (Can be increased)
- Three accounts per IP
- Felucca only, no safe zones.
- Sphere style Renaissance combat, Fizzle Sphere PvP (no precast), Move while casting.
- Fully Functional Factions, Champions and many other features long missing from Sphere servers
- Completely re-scripted skills, spells, NPCs, and systems
- Skills have a delay before the skill fires
- Combat swings wind up before the hit rather than having a recoil after.
- Accurate Renaissance era mechanics With SphereSvr Style
- This shard is 99% re-scripted to better emulate official Renaissance gameplay mechanics
